Spindoctor: This mix has a happy feel to it. I’ve aptly named it “Good Times” to appropriately describe the theme and overall feel of the CD and also as a tribute to the upcoming Retro Manila party on October 13 in Palo Alto, CA. The mix starts off with a new version of the classic “Runaway Love”. As your bloodstream warms up, the beat starts to pick up with huge anthems from Milk & Sugar and Bonnie Bailey. Further down the tracks, I chose a few of my favorites from the renowned French DJ. , Bob Sinclar. His tracks truly bring out the message of World Peace, Love, etc. A little bit further down, a housed-up remake of CeeJay’s “A Little Love” once again comes back to life. Finally, as the CD comes to an end it concludes with some recent new house tracks from Europe. I hope that after listening to this CD, it will make you think of “The Good Times”.

Here’s a live performance by OM recording artist and deejay Colette.
Colette started her set with a concert performance from her PUSH album.
Then ended the night with a fabulous deejay set. Again this is a live recording
from DNALounge in San Francisco - Aug. 24th 2007. File is about 180MB.

Pogimix welcomes Deejay Reggie. Talent, hard work and the desire to be better has always been the common characteristics of great djs. And Reggie Inocencio clearly possesses all of those in abundance. He learned mixing from his older brother, Ronnie, in 1993. For a while it seemed like all he wanted was to be a bedroom dj. But he was soon getting alot of encouragement from old-timers as his talent was evident as well as his perseverance. It wasn’t too long after when he landed a residency at Industria in Makati where things started to roll. It was soon followed by an apprenticeship at Euphoria.

Moving on from there, he soon landed prime residencies at various bars and clubs as well as guest performances at events in and out of Manila. Before long he was already working alongside industry mainstays like Boyet Sison, Elmer Dado, Mon Maramba among others whom he credits as influential to his dj career. At the start of the new millenium, he was already a certified headliner in parties together with a residency at Wherelse. This amazing run all culminated with a very coveted residency at the Embassy Superclub.

He lists artists like Antoine Clamaran, Roger Sanchez, Chus & Ceballos, Groovemakers, Aquaculture, Full Intention, The Hoxton Whores, Ian Carey, Joy Marquez and Kobbe & Austin Leeds as his current favorites.
At the moment Dj Reggie is based in Phoenix, Arizona where he’s picking up his headphones again after putting it in the backroom for the past 2 years. Given his talent, hard work and dedication, it won’t be long before he hits his stride again. This is one worth waiting for.
